Dr. CJ Epstein DC, CCSP®, CSCS, ART
Dr. CJ Epstein is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic for Team Elite Chiropractic. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, graduating with honors. As a member of the Palmer West Sports Council, he focused his attention on sports injury prevention and rehabilitation. An athlete himself, he personally took a strong interest in effective, conservative, musculoskeletal treatment and understands the importance of athletes returning to their sport quickly without unnecessary invasive treatment. His clinical practice includes athletes of all levels and disciplines. Currently, he serves as the Team Chiropractor for the San Diego Padres. Dr. Epstein approaches each patient with an open mind to provide the best treatment approach based on their individual needs and goals. He is recognized by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®) as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Dr. Epstein also maintains certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Active Release Techniques (ART), and as a Rocktape provider. Dr. Epstein appreciates all the activities San Diego has to offer. In his free time he enjoys being at the beach, playing soccer, running, snowboarding, strength training, and playing with his dog, Enzo.
Dr. Nathan Jung DC, EMT-B
Dr. Nathan Jung is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic for Team Elite Chiropractic. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from South Dakota State University. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. As a member of the Northwestern SACA Sports Council and Rehab 2 Performance club, he focused his attention on movement and sports rehabilitation. He is a Nationally and State Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) with an interest in performing sideline work at local events and for sports teams. He also maintains certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Level 1) and as a Rocktape provider (FMT Level 1 and 2). His primary focus and passion is to relieve patients of pain quickly and to correct any faulty movement patterns. His target audience includes anyone who has the willingness to move better as an athlete. He believes people of all ages should be treated as an athlete along with being treated from a whole body, global perspective. Along with gentle spinal manipulation/mobilization, his treatment consists of manual therapy, such as instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), cupping, active release techniques, voodoo floss, taping, and rehabilitation specific exercises to re-establish stability throughout the musculoskeletal system. In his free time, he enjoys strength and movement training, reading and research of the newest movement concepts, as well as spending time at the beach and natural parks that San Diego has to offer.
Dr. Dianna Rocha DC
Dr. Dianna Rocha is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic for Team Elite Chiropractic. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University where she was involved with SDSU Sports Clubs and the Strength and Conditioning Program at the Fowler Athletics Center. She continued to grow in the health and fitness industry and became an experienced certified personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She went on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA. In addition to her education at Palmer West, Dr. Dianna served as co-president for Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) and was an avid member for Rehab 2 Performance (R2P) and Palmer West Sports Council. Dr. Dianna gears her treatment towards functional movement and providing the most effective manual therapy and rehabilitation exercise program for each patient. Her passion is to help the community reach their optimal health and performance goals. She also maintains certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Rocktape–Functional Movement Taping (FMT), and Webster’s Technique. In her free time, in addition to enjoying the perk of San Diego’s beaches, she strives to perfect her strength and conditioning, and loves listening to great music!
Jaycee Ames is the voice behind the phone. Bridging the gap between our incredible patients and doctors, Jaycee takes an enthusiastic and energetic approach to scheduling appointments and tending to patient inquiries. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Jacyee moved to sunny San Diego with her husband and two little girls. Prior to her move, Jaycee had managed and assisted in runnning the Tacaloma Spa and Salon for the Pointe Hilton at Tapatio Cliffs. With over 15 years of experience in the customer/guest services, Jaycee has made customer satisfaction her top priority. She has lived in San Diego now for two years and loves every minute of it. She best enjoys spending her free time outside with her family, especially at the beach.
